Ana Débora Mola and Flora Belkis Lescaille went into the mountains of eastern Cuba in April 1960 along with 1,500 other Volunteer Teachers.  Together they lay the groundwork for a massive National Literacy Campaign to take place the following year, transforming their country in deep and lasting ways.
